How to Reach Jim Corbett from Delhi?

Jim Corbett National Park is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas in the Nainital District of Uttarakhand. The place is around 300 kms away from Delhi. There are several ways to reach the park. One can visit Jim Corbett National Park by Air, by Train or by road.

By Air:
As the national park does not have any airstrip or helipad, the tourists have to rely on Phoolbagh airport in Pantnagar. The airport is 50 kms away from the Corbett Park. From there you can get taxi and other vehicles to visit Jim Corbett National Park. At Phoolbagh, you can take flights to travel to major cities of India.

By Rail:
The railway station in closer proximity to Jim Corbett National Park is Ramnagar. This is only 12 kms away from the Corbett Park. The only train plies between Delhi and Ramnagar is Ranikhet Express. The train departs from Delhi every day at around 22.40 pm and arrives Ramnagar at 4.55 a.m. On the other hand it departs from Ramnagar towards Delhi around 9.05 p.m and reaches Delhi at 5.00 am.  

By Road:
Jim Corbett National Park is around 300 kms away from Delhi. To visit the place tourists can follow the route of Delhi to Hapur-Murababad-Ramnagar. If you are going through road, then you have to take left around 7 kms ahead of Muradabad. Maximum visitors to Jim Corbett National Park prefer roadways. It takes hardly six hours to reach there from Delhi.
